Starting the quest

Talk to Sir Amik Varze on the 3rd floor[UK]4th floor[US] of the White Knights' Castle in Falador. Accept his request to spy on the Black Knights.

Getting the Cabbage

Go to the Monastery east of Ice Mountain.

Pick a Cabbage from the patch just north of the Monastery.

Infiltrating the Fortress

Travel to the Black Knights' Fortress, north of Ice Mountain.

Equip the Bronze medium helm and Iron chainmail.

Enter the fortress through the sturdy door on the south side.

Push the odd-looking wall directly north of the entrance.

Climb up the ladder.

Navigating to the Spy Point

Climb the next ladder.

Climb the ladder again to reach the top floor.

Climb *down* the ladder to the south-east.

Open the door to the east.

Open the next door.

Climb *up* the ladder (into the cannon room).

Climb *down* the ladder on the east side (into the altar room).

Open the door (a Black Knight may attack; you can fight or run).

Climb the ladder in the south-west corner.

Spying and Sabotage

Click 'Listen-at grill' on the wall grill. You will learn the secret weapon requires a specific cabbage from Draynor Manor.

Go back down all the ladders to the ground floor entrance room.

Push the odd-looking wall again to exit the secret passage.

Attempt to open the door to the *east* on the ground floor.

Tell the guard you are brave enough to enter.

Enter the room (a Black Knight may attack; you can fight or ignore).

Climb up the ladder.

Walk east, then south, and push the odd-looking wall.

Use the Cabbage (the one from the Monastery) on the hole in the floor.

Completing the quest

Leave the fortress.

Return to Sir Amik Varze in Falador to claim your reward.
