Strange occurrences have taken over a fishing platform. Solve the mystery and save a family from the clutches of the slugs.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Caroline, south of the Legends' Guild.

Talk to Holgart nearby.

Give Holgart the Swamp paste.

Travel with Holgart to the Fishing Platform.

Investigating the Platform

Walk west and talk to Bailey.

Climb the ladder on the north-east part of the platform.

Head west to the building and talk to Kennith (shout across the crates).

Finding Kent

Go back down and talk to Holgart to travel.

Talk to Kent on the small island.

Talk to Holgart again to return to the platform.

Preparing to Rescue Kennith

Attempt to climb the ladder (fishermen will block you).

Talk to Bailey to learn the slugs' weakness and receive an unlit torch.

Pick up the Broken glass from the corner near Bailey.

Pick up Damp sticks from the north-east section of the platform.

Use the Broken glass on the Damp sticks to get Dry sticks.

Use your Tinderbox on the Dry sticks (requires 30 Firemaking) while holding the unlit torch to light it.

Rescuing Kennith

Climb the ladder (with the lit torch equipped or in inventory).

Talk to Kennith.

Kick the loose panels on the outside of the building Kennith is in.

Talk to Kennith again.

Rotate the crane outside.

Kennith will jump onto the crane and into the rowboat.

Completing the Quest

Go back down and talk to Holgart.

Return to the mainland.

Talk to Caroline to claim your reward.
