Walkthrough

Starting the Quest

Enter the Tree Gnome Stronghold maze and find Elkoy near the north-west corner. He will guide you through the maze.

Once through the maze, talk to King Bolren near the Spirit Tree.

Agree to help retrieve the Orb of Protection. Elkoy will lead you to the battlefield.

Helping Commander Montai

Talk to Commander Montai on the battlefield.

Give him the 6 Logs when he asks for them.

Talk to him again to receive the task of finding coordinates from his trackers.

Finding the Trackers

Head north into the Khazard camp. Find the 1st tracker in an oblong building in the north-east part. Learn the Y-coordinate is 5.

Head west from the first tracker, staying north of the long building. Find the 2nd tracker along the wall. Learn the Height coordinate is 4.

Head south along the outskirts of the camp. Find the 3rd tracker and solve his riddle to learn the X-coordinate is 3.

Retrieving the First Orb

Return to the gnome camp and go to the Ballista.

Operate the Ballista using the coordinates: Height=4, X=3, Y=5.

Go to the north-west building in the Khazard camp and climb over the crumbled wall.

Defeat the level 48 Khazard Commander downstairs.

Go upstairs and defeat the second level 48 Khazard Commander.

Open the chest on the 2nd floor to get the Orb of Protection.

The Warlord

Return to Elkoy at the maze entrance (he will guide you back in).

Speak to King Bolren. He will tell you the other two orbs have been stolen.

Elkoy will guide you out of the maze.

Travel north past the Khazard camp, then north-west, past level 64 wolves.

Locate the level 112 Khazard Warlord.

Defeating the Warlord

Attack the Khazard Warlord. You may need to run away to eat food if your health gets low.

Using Ranged or Magic can be effective as he may be unable to reach you in certain spots.

Defeat the Warlord. He will drop the two remaining Orbs of Protection.

Completing the Quest

Pick up the Orbs.

Return to Elkoy at the maze entrance (he will guide you back in).

Speak to King Bolren to give him the orbs and claim your reward.
