Description

Investigate the death of the elven leaders of old and find mysterious treasures hidden within the Baxtorian Falls.

None required, but you will encounter Shadow Spider (level 52), Moss Guardian (level 84), and Fire Giant (level 86).

Walkthrough

Starting the quest

Speak to Almera in her house north of Baxtorian Falls.

Board the raft behind her house.

After crashing, speak to Hudon on the shore.

Right-click 'Swim to' the rock south in the water.

Use your Rope on the rock across the water to the south.

Use your Rope on the dead tree to climb down the ledge (you will take minor damage).

Hadley and the Book

Enter the house nearby and speak to Hadley.

Return north to Almera and speak to her.

Go back to Hadley's house.

Go upstairs, search the bookcases for 'Book on Baxtorians' and read it.

Speak to Hadley again downstairs.

Obtaining Glarial's Pebble

Travel to the Tree Gnome Village (south of Ardougne, west of Yanille).

Navigate the maze to the dungeon entrance in the centre.

Enter the dungeon.

Go to the eastern alcove, search the crates/boxes until you find a Key.

Go to the western alcove, use the Key on the jail door.

Speak to the gnome prisoner, Golrie, to receive Glarial's pebble.

Leave the dungeon and the maze.

Glarial's Tomb

Bank ALL items, including armour, weapons, and runes. Only bring Glarial's pebble and some food.

Go to Glarial's Tombstone, located east of Hadley's house.

Use Glarial's pebble on the tombstone to enter.

Search the chest in the northern room to obtain Glarial's amulet.

Search the coffin in the southern room to obtain Glarial's urn.

Climb the ladder to exit the tomb.

Preparing for the Waterfall

Retrieve your Rope, 6 Air runes, 6 Water runes, 6 Earth runes, combat equipment, food, and stat restore potion from the bank.

Ensure you have Glarial's amulet and Glarial's urn in your inventory.

Equip Glarial's amulet.

Entering the Waterfall

Return to Almera's house and board the raft again.

Swim to the rock south again.

Use the Rope on the rock across the water again.

Use the Rope on the dead tree again. You will land on a different ledge this time.

Open the door on the ledge (requires Glarial's amulet equipped).

Inside the Waterfall Dungeon

Enter the dungeon (beware of Shadow Spiders, Moss Guardians, and Fire Giants).

Head east into the large room with crates.

Search the crates until you find a Key.

Head west into the large room with Fire Giants.

Run past the giants to the passage in the north-west corner.

Use the Key on the first door.

Use the Key on the second door to enter the final room.

The Chalice Room and Completion

In the room with 6 pillars and a statue, use 1 Water rune, 1 Air rune, and 1 Earth rune on EACH of the 6 pillars (18 runes total).

Use Glarial's amulet on the Statue of Glarial.

Use Glarial's urn on the Chalice of Eternity that appears.
